Engaging with and supporting local communities is an important part of Aurrum’s vision.

The team at Aurrum Aged Care Norah Head on the NSW Central Coast recently donated $1,000 to the Australian Men’s Shed Association (AMSA) in support of their work as a community development organisation.

The AMSA promotes mental, emotional and physical health for men in the community by providing a place men can come together and work on projects, and feel comfortable sharing information and knowledge with others from their local area.

David Holland, San Remo Men’s Shed Coordinator, attended a celebratory morning tea with several of the San Remo Men’s Shed members at Aurrum Norah Head. Facility Manager Karen Bailey and her team discussed Aurrum’s philosophy and values as an organization, and Aurrum’s presence in the Central Coast community.

Aurrum Norah Head hopes to continue to foster a relationship with The Australian Men’s Shed Association and be part of future community events.Charity Cheque
