Residents in Aurrum Kincumber art therapy class and Karen Adler, Art Therapist have written and illustrated a children’s book titled Feathers and Fur Farm. Aurrum Kincumber held a book launch to debut their book to the community as well as read to children from the local preschool.

The book is inspired by Willow, the dog who comes to visit their art therapy class every week.

Creative activities in art and music therapy are proven to reduce stress and agitation and boost mood and self-confidence.

Aurrum is extremely proud of the hard work and dedication the residents put into this amazing children’s story. Their creativity is inspiring and encouraging to everyone at any age!Resident reading Resident reading Resident reading
