NSW Student Placements

Student Carer / Nurse / Leisure & Health Placement

We welcome clinical placements to a variety of aged care and nursing students each year. Due to the large volume of requests we receive we have developed our own system for processing student placement requests in NSW. 

All requests must be made by the Registered Training Organisation as we require company information to create the agreement between Aurrum and the RTO.
Applications for placement can only be made by the training organisations. Unfortunately we cannot arrange placements directly with students.

It takes time to arrange clinical placements & complete the documentation, to allow for this, requests needs to be submitted at least 4-6 weeks prior to the placement commencing.

The above 3 will need to be completed and returned to studentplacements@aurrum.com.au

Once we have received your application and the required documents, Aurrum will be in touch to confirm whether the student application has been successful.

While we try to place all student placements, we cannot guarantee each request as they are subject to the availability in each care home.

All students are required to read the Aurrum Student Placement Policy and Student Induction Guide prior commencing their Aurrum student placement.
