Each Aurrum site in NSW and VIC participated in a fun spring scarecrow contest this month! Residents and Aurrum employees came up with a concept for their scarecrow and worked together for about six weeks bringing the masterpieces to life.
Fantastic effort by everyone who participated. The competition was exciting with Aurrum Aged Care Erina taking home 1st place followed by Aurrum Nursing Home Wyoming and Aurrum Aged Care Reservoir.
The staff and residents had an amazing time working together as a team showing off their creativity. The residents enjoy a wide range of lifestyle activities and new stimulating projects are always exciting and motivating.
All of the scarecrows are on display in the beautiful gardens of each facility for residents and family members to enjoy.
